Espaivet

Name Espaivet  was obtained by extension of the acronym S.P.V. Société Parisienne de Verrerie.

The trace of a Société Parisienne de Verrerie can be found between the years 1890 and 1925 at 112, Boulevard Auguste Blanqui in Paris. This glassworks specialised in medical optical glassware and glass containers for perfumery. 

Today, there is a Société Parisienne de Verrerie in Orly (94) which manufactures bottles for laboratories, but the history of this company does not mention any connection with the former artistic Espaivet brand. The investigation remains open to find out a little more about this disappeared glassworks.
