“Take a piece of history with you!”

Beautiful Art Deco satin braun glass shade from 1920s, signed Degué, the glass artist, who produced his art glass at glassworks de Compiègne, a city close to Paris, before specializing in luxury glassware.  When he started his own artful glass design branded “Degué” he was finally appreciated by the public and since today is well appreciated by lovers of Art Deco. The start of Second World War put an end of  “Verrerie D’Art Degué” and forced Guéron to shut down the factory in 1939. David Guéron left France for the United States during the war period.

At the moment two Tripod -twin-lamps with the shades of this type (see photos) are available, which are looking for the new kind home. Tripod mount includes a ceiling or wall mount possibility. The Twin-tripods are perfectly suitable for any loft apartment or urban interior as well as a classic Art Deco interior.
