Lamp 111_21

Take a piece of history with you!”

Beautiful Art Deco satin glass shade model 534 from 1920s, signed Degué, the glass artist, who produced his art glass at glassworks de Compiègne, a city close to Paris, before specializing in luxury glassware.  When he started his own artful glass design branded “Degué” he was finally appreciated by the public and since today is well appreciated by lovers of Art Deco. The start of Second World War put an end of  “Verrerie D’Art Degué” and forced Guéron to shut down the factory in 1939. David Guéron left France for the United States during the war period.
