DELIVERY

Unless soming else agreed on delivery, generally delivery is organized by parcel service (DHL, UPS or FedEx). You will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment. A signature will be required upon delivery.

Delivery costs within Switzerland are included in the price of the object. For Switzerland, if requested, personal delivery can be organized.

Worldwide delivery charges will be added to the price of the object according to the international tarif of parcel service provider depending on the object’s weight and final destination. Custom and import duties, where applicable, are to be covered by the buyer.

Examine the items upon delivery. In the event that there are visible signs of damage, please indicate the problem on the Delivery Note, take pictures, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. A signed delivery receipt without notation regarding damaged items represents your acceptance that order in good condition has arrived.

DISCLAMER

Bulbs replacement, opening the lamp, mounting to wall or ceiling should be strictly done with electricity disconnected.

ReArtDeco’s liability for any life, limb or health damages is excluded.

REFUSAL OF TRANSACTION

Reartdeco reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time in its sole decision or to withdraw any item from the sale.

In the event of withdrawal or object in-availability, Reartdeco will immediately reimburse the customer for any payments already made.

VINTAGE GLASS IMPERFECTIONS

Most of our glass objects are vintage of about 80 to 100 years old. As a result, the condition of the object will never be “new” and it may be that it has signs of usage, which is appropriate for the age of the objects.  As we deal with vintage object, they might have certain imperfection, which are demonstrated on the photos and reflected in the description.The condition of the objects is always stated in the description and in the photos.

Especially this concerns glass objects, which may have tiny usage traces or traces of molding during manufacturing, which is normal for this type of objects. Sometimes objects might have tiny splits or imperfections, which come from their age.

In our portfolio there are products from well-known brands and designers, sometimes signed. Nevertheless if the object has no signature, it is still unique or even famous.

RETURN POLICY

A return is a matter of discussion. Buyers have 14 days after the tracking confirms delivery, to request a return authorisation by contacting us. Items must be returned via tracked and insured post following our instructions, in the exact same condition as sent. Buyer carries responsibility and pay for all duty and shipping costs. Return shipping, custom and duty fees are carried by the buyer.

If the returned item is in original condition Reartdeco will deduct the original sending expenses from the refund amount. Also Reartdeco will deduct the amount of the custom fees on the return transportation to Switzerland. Reartdeco may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of the item returned due to handling of the items beyond what is necessary or any damages on the return transportation including custom.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to orders (custom manufactured lights) for the delivery of objects that were manufactured for an individual selection or ordered by decisive determination of the customer or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.
